Hwy 74 is the Great Smoky Mountains Expressway. Get Off Exit 74 (Cherokee 441 exit) go approximately 2 miles and look for the Smoky Mountain Elementary School on your right that is your clue to get into the left lane and slow down for the next left onto Shoal Creek Road. You will see our sign at 441 and Shoal Creek Road. Turn left and go about 1/3 of a mile and we are on the right.

via Georgia Route 5 Take I-75 North to I-575 North, which becomes Route 5. Turn left (west) on route 60 toward Mineral Bluff. Go 1.5 miles to Mineral Bulff, then turn right on "60 spur". Go approximately 11-12 miles to a stop sign, junction with 19/74. Turn right (east) toward Murphy, NC. Continue 30-40 minutes on 19/74 and you will enter western Swain County through the Nantahala Gorge. Go to exit 74 (Cherokee 441 exit) go approx 2 miles make left at sign (corner of 441 and shoal creek rd). go 1/3 mile make right.
via I-85 Take I-85 North to US 441 North. Just pass Dillsboro, NC, take Hwy 74 West and you will enter Swain County from the east continue to exit 74.

Take 85 west to 74 and then on to 26 North to Asheville and 40 West to exit #27. Here you get on "The Great Smoky Mountain Expressway" and it takes you to Cherokee, exit #74, 4 lanes all the way..

Take I-40 West to exit 27 which is Hwy 74 West. From Hwy 74, Get Off at (Exit 74) The driving time from I-40 to Cherokee is approximately 45 miles.

via US 129 Take 129 South and, after crossing the TN/NC border, take HWY 28 South. Continue approximately 40 miles to a stop sign, junction with 19/74. Take 74 to exit 74(Cherokee 441).
via the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (Depending on traffic
this trip could take up to 4 hours. Average driving time is approximately 2
1/2 hours.) Take I-40 East to exit 407. From the exit ramp take a right. In
Sevierville, TN, take US 441 South through the Park to Cherokee, NC. There are
now two options....
....Take HWY 74 West to Cherokee (Exit 74). This is a four
lane highway and approximately 2 miles to campground OR
....Take
US 19 South to Cherokee. Take 441 south 2 miles and campground is on right.
From I-75 take US 64 East into North Carolina. In Murphy, NC, take Hwy 74 East to Cherokee (Exit 74) It is approximately 60 miles to Cherokee.

Take 19 to Cherokee then Follow signs to 441 South. You will see the Casino on your right when you do make a left at that light in front of the Casino you will then see a McDonalds on the right side of the street just after McDonalds is the 441 South Hwy make a left turn at the light and go about 2 miles and the campground is on the right. You will see our sign on the right side of the street. After turning right go about 1/3 of a mile and the campground is on the right. Make sure you stay to the left once you are on Shoal Creek road because their is a fork in the road and you need to stay to the left or you'll wind up on a mountain.
